	Aaen Trail Quiet Performance Pipes with "Double Core Silencers combine added power and lighter weight with a quiet trail sound. These exciting products have 3 years of testing behind them and hundred of dyno runs. Grass Drag Racing, Asphalt Racing and field testing have all confirmed the power improvements. Feedback from mountain riders are very positive. Canadian distributors report excellent performance both at normal and high altitude. This is a rare combination to achieve, as some other mountain pipes that they tested fell flat on their face when brought down to the normal altitude of the prairie. Aaen performance has developed the "internal stinger" technology continuously since the late seventies. This advanced design cuts the sound in half before the pressure pulse reaches our "Double Core" silencers, where it is reduced to a "trail quiet" level. The result is a mellow "turbo purr" that has just the right sound for a performance sled. This combination allows more power, a wider power band combined with our lightweight silencer. Ski Doo  REV 800, 600 & 500 Aaen "trail quiet" Power Curves

The power increase on the 800 REV is 8 HP. On the 600 SDI, HO and on the 500SS the power increase is 6 HP. Weight savings in both cases is a big 15 lbs. The sound level with the double core silencer at 3500 RPM at the new proposed DNR stationary test prodedure is 86-88 db(A). Check out the power on our dyno curves and you will see that the pipes match mid-range performance with only a 200 RPM increase to the new power peak. We have achieved quick throttle response and hard acceleration, which combined with the lighter weight makes this set-up great fun to ride on tight trails. The pipe will also mount directly onto the stock muffler, and deliver good performance with this combination. With the pipe mounted to the stock silencer, your weight savings is 5 lbs.
