CAN-AM OUTLANDER AND RENEGADE 800 MEGA POWER SILENCER

Our new CAN-AM Outlander and
Renegade Mega Power Slip-on Silencer is the result of an
extensive dyno development and field testing program. In stock
form the CAN-AM Outlander 800 produced 67.8 HP at 6700 RPM on
our Land & Sea Crankshaft Dynomometer. The final development of
our Slip-On Mega Power Silencer on the CAN-AM Outlander 800
produced 73.2 HP at 7100 RPM. The difference is an increase of
5.4 HP between Power peaks. The stock horsepower curve, however,
drops quicker as the RPM increases. At 7300 RPM the stock CAN-AM
Outlander 800 power is only 66 HP, while the Outlander with our
Mega Power Slip-On Silencer is still pulling 73.2 HP, a 7.2 HP
increase. This effectively widens the power curve and makes it
possible to better utilize the power. At the 7100 RPM power peak
of the CAN-AM Outlander 800 with the Mega Power Slip-On Silencer
there is also a healthy 4.7 lb/ft increase in torque.
Field testing with the new Mega Power Silencer showed
strong bottom end pull and quick throttle response. The stock
CAN-AM Outlander and Renegade 800 fuel injection is rich enough
to work efficiently with the new Mega Power Slip-On Silencer,
and the power band is wide enough to put the power to the ground
without extensive clutch changes. We have a Techlusion EFI tuner
available for those who want to maximize the fuel injection.
The CAN-AM outlander
and Renegade 800 Mega Power Slip-On has a 3 stage stepped silver
ceramic coated mid pipe and a 4� aluminum body with a large 2.5�
core that keeps the sound level at 94 db(A) and is of a closed
end design that will pass as a spark arrestor in most states. A
4" Supertrapp spark arrestor kit is also available.
